Coniston Water Festival 2007
This years festival was a huge success with over 1000 visitors over the 5 day event . The new 'Big Fat Canoe Race' was a great new addition to the programme with 22 teams taking part in the fastest canoe challenge that Coniston Water has seen in many years. The large slate trophy was awarded to a family of four who were visiting the area on holiday. Although there was some rain throughout the week the festival spirit shone through and they event ended with the family funday on a lovely sunny day. The festival committee would like to thank everyone who has contributed time and resources to this years event and look forward to the 2008 Coniston water Festival, we hope to see you all again next year
