Road
From the south - leave the M6 at Junction 36 and follow the A590 towards Barrow-in-Furness. At Greenodd, turn right on the A5092 and after approximately 2 miles turn right onto the A5084 at Lowick (signposted: Coniston). At the end of the A5084 (T-Junction at Torver), turn right onto the A593 and follow this road into Coniston.
From the north - follow the A591 to Ambleside and then take the A593 and follow the signposts to Coniston.

Rail

Coach (and Bus)
Service 505 (Coniston Rambler) runs between Windermere and Coniston (via Hawkshead) every hour, linking in with the Cross-Lakes Shuttle service.  Connections with Kendal, Windermere and Keswick.  The 505 Windermere-to-Coniston service can now carry two bikes free of charge and you are advised to book in advance. To book, phone 01539 722143 (Monday to Friday 09.30 – 16.30 with details of where you will join and leave the bus. Service X12 links Ulverston with Coniston. Runs every 90 minutes.

This years festival is situated at Coniston Boating Centre.
To find us take the A593, which runs through Coniston , turn into Lake Road which is adjacent to the petrol station in the centre of the village, then follow this road to the bottom until you reach the lake.
